Inspired Generosity Indiana: Community Lunch Convening

Join us for lunch and a community conversation to learn more about the Inspired Generosity Indiana showcase, coming to Butler University in 2027! We are convening nonprofit, community and public leaders in preparation for the full showcase. Register by September 15th and invite a friend!

We will be gathering at Butler University at the South Campus Main Building Common Room (1000 W 42nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46208). Please note that parking is available, however we will be utilizing a temporary gravel parking lot. You should enter the parking lot from 42nd St. The temporary lot is next to Lot #45 on the Butler Parking Map.

Inspired Generosity showcases stories of Muslim generosity inspired by faith, helping to combat stereotypes, breakdown barriers and build stronger relationships between communities. As author Pattie Digh once said, “The shortest distance between two people is a story”, and the Inspired Generosity showcase puts these words into action. The exhibit features 50 stories of philanthropy told through poetry, videos, art, and the written word, celebrating the contributions of Muslim Americans giving back to their communities. Events hosted during the showcase bring together diverse voices from Muslim and Muslim ally spaces to highlight collaboration and forge stronger partnerships. Through the power of storytelling and human connection, Inspired Generosity brings communities together to not just challenge personal bias, but to change the narrative.
