Using Health and Wellbeing Events to Empower People Living With and Beyond Cancer
Brief Overview:
People are living longer with a cancer diagnosis, but they are not always living better quality lives. Positive lifestyle changes have been proven to help manage both physical and psychological health but knowing where to get evidence-based information and support can be daunting. Two pilot health and wellbeing events, aimed at patients and carers, were created to provide information on key aspects of health and wellbeing, as well as linking into community support. These events were proven to provide invaluable support for those navigating life after cancer treatment.
