The Be Happy 5K is back for year 5. 100% of event profits support youth mental health in Minnesota through the Shine A Ligh7 Foundation.

5K Run, starts 8:00 AM

5K Walk, starts 8:02 AM

Speed Yoga, starts 8:01 AM, 20 minutes, led by Kenzie Johnson of CorePower Maple Grove. New for 2026.

50-Yard Dash for kids 13 and under, starts 7:55 AM

Virtual Participant, run your 5K anywhere on race day and log it on Strava

This event is dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on the course with you, and there is an optional dog chew treat add on at registration.

THE POST RACE PARTY

Sauna and cold plunge from ROAM Sauna, sandwiches from Subway while supplies last, drinks, samples, massages, music, local vendors, and a bouncy house for the kids. Plus a raffle drawing and an online silent auction run through the Shine A Ligh7 Foundation, with bidding opening the week of the race.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Event t-shirt with registration through September 5, gift bags, giveaways, prizes, local vendors, and the post race party.

AWARDS

1st place man and woman, $100 or more in value. 2nd place, $50 value. 3rd place, $25 value. Fastest virtual 5K logged on Strava, $100 or more in value, virtual ticket required.
