Five Points 50/25 Course Preview

Get ready to dial in your lines and explore Lookout Mountain with SORBA Chattanooga and Lula Lake Land Trust during our Five Points 50/25 Course Preview Ride series leading up to the Oct. 24th race! This group ride will start at the Durham Mine Trails main parking lot. Whether you're racing or just want to ride with a great crew, this ride is for you!

About the ride: We will be riding the Durham , 5 Points, and Ascalon sections of the 50 mile course and meet at the Durham Mine Trails to start the ride. This ride will be 26 miles and is not recommended for begginers. All of these trails are mostly single track with a combination of long climbs, downhills, technical rock gardens, and smooth flowy trails. These rides will roll at a social pace, but the terrain is no joke—expect a mix of flow, roots, and climbs that will keep you on your toes.

The entire course will not be marked. A GPX file of the route will be emailed, and it is highly recommended that you have it downloaded to help you navigate the route.

Meeting Time and Location : We will Meet at the Durham Mines Trailhead . Please arrive no later than 8:45 am ET. The ride will start promptly at 9:00 am ET.

Important Details

• This ride may be canceled in the event of heavy rain.
• Bring: Your own mountain bike, helmet, and plenty of water and snacks.
• Please note: In the warmer months we do see quite a bit of yellowjackets on the property, so if you are allergic, please carry your own EpiPen as we do not carry them on site.
