Celebrate UWF’s emerging artists at the opening reception for Altered State, a contemporary BFA Summer Studio group exhibition.
Altered State is a contemporary group exhibition featuring emerging artists from the University of West Florida Department of Art & Design. Curated by UWF instructor Marzia Ransom, the exhibition presents work developed during the BFA Summer Studio class, where students worked side by side to deepen their individual practices through daily studio work, critique, conversation, and collaboration.
The exhibition reflects a collective step forward for these artists as they build cohesive bodies of work toward their BFA portfolios and exit exhibitions.
Presented through a growing partnership between The Art Gallery (TAG) at UWF and The 52 World, Altered State brings the work of UWF’s emerging artists into the broader Pensacola community.
