Is this event free?

Yes! The Artmosphere: Stories, Rhythm & Belonging is completely FREE and open to the community. We encourage advance registration through Eventbrite so we can prepare for our guests.

Who can attend?

Everyone is welcome! This is an all-ages, family-friendly experience designed for children, teens, adults, families, and community members to create, connect, and express themselves together.

Do I need to be an artist to participate?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! No previous artistic experience is necessary. The Artmosphere is about exploration, expression, creativity, and belonging, not artistic perfection. Come exactly as you are.

What will we do at The Artmosphere?

Participants will experience facilitated, interdisciplinary arts activities incorporating visual art, poetry, storytelling, rhythm, and interactive creative expression led by Dallas-based artists and community arts partners.

What should I bring?

Just bring yourself, your creativity, curiosity, and willingness to participate! Art materials and supplies needed for the facilitated experiences will be provided.

Can I attend if I arrive after 12:00 PM?

We encourage guests to arrive at the beginning of the event so they have the greatest opportunity to experience each creative activation. However, guests arriving during the event are still welcome to join as space and time allow.

The Artmosphere: Stories, Rhythm & Belonging is led by 2 Inspire Peace Inc. with support from the City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture, Dallas Park & Recreation, and Dallas Public Library.
