I am not currently a client of Guidepost Insurance, can I attend?

Absolutely! All are welcome. If you currently work with another agent are satisfied with their service, please consider attending their ANOC meeting.  If you are looking for a new agent, it's a safe, no-pressure way to get to know us.

Question 5

I've heard I should go to a SHIP counselor, why should I work with an agent?

According to a recent Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) article, SHIP counselors only give accurate & complete answers 40%” of the time. They are not licensed,  cannot offer customer support after enrollment, and we cost you the same amount as SHIP ($0) and offer the same plans.

I have a Medigap/Medicare Supplement (Plan F, Plan, G, Plan N), do I need to attend?

Even if you don't plan on changing to a Part C plan, it is still critical to review your Part D coverage. Additionally, we may be able to help you find a more affordable Medigap using the Birthday Rule.

I'm not yet on Medicare, should I attend?

All are welcome, and you will learn something beneficial. The target audience of these meetings is existing clients who have Part C, but the content will benefit anyone interested in learning more about Medicare and available plans.

I'm planning to move, or am from out of state, should I attend?

Accepted Answer

We are licensed in most states and service clients across the US. Please attend!

I have a Medigap/Medicare Supplement (Plan F, Plan, G, Plan N), should I attend?

Accepted Answer

It would be beneficial. Not only will you learn about upcoming Medicare changes, but we will also discuss Part D changes. And, it is always advisable to know and understand all of your options. You may decide to use your Trial Right to try a Part C (Advantage) plan, or we can use the birthday rule.
