For 15 years, Rosie and Connecting Communities and Families have been building bridges to opportunity for young adults aging out of foster care, returning citizens, and low-to-moderate-income families. Through GED education, job training, workforce development, and community support, the organization has helped individuals and families move toward greater stability, independence, and success.

At the heart of this work is a woman who saw a need in her community and chose to do something about it.

Meet the Woman Behind the Mission

Rosie Palmer: A Community Force of Nature

Rosie Palmer is more than a founder and CEO. She is a community force of nature; part strategist, part storyteller, and all heart.

For 15 years, Rosie has dedicated herself to creating pathways for people navigating some of life's most difficult transitions–from young adults aging out of foster care and individuals returning home from incarceration to families working to build more stable and successful futures.

Her work is rooted in one simple but powerful belief:

Everyone deserves an opportunity to succeed.

That belief became a mission. And that mission became Connecting Communities and Families–an organization dedicated to connecting people with the education, job training, resources, relationships, and support they need to move forward.

This milestone celebration is more than an anniversary. It is a tribute to Rosie's vision, perseverance, and heart; a celebration of the lives and families touched along the way; and an opportunity for all of us to help carry this mission forward for the next 15 years.

Guests will enjoy a meet-and-greet happy hour, dinner, two custom cocktails, and an opportunity to learn more about the organization's impact and vision for the next 15 years.

We'll also celebrate with a $100 raffle for a chance to win a one-week stay at The Surprise at Edisto.
