Celebrating Women in Wine and Cheese: A tasting event

Celebrate the artistry and dedication of women in wine and cheese at Celebrating Women in Wine and Cheese, a special fundraising event benefiting Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn. This unique gathering brings the exceptional creations of female winemakers and cheesemakers to center stage.

Hosted by Julia Hallman, owner of Formaggio Kitchen, the evening will offer an interactive tasting experience throughout the shop. Each featured station will offer a selection of exquisite wines and cheeses crafted by talented women in the industry. Engage in intimate conversations with wine and cheese experts while learning about their processes, inspirations, and the stories behind each bottle and wheel.

At every station, an industry expert will offer insights into pairing suggestions, flavor profiles, and the unique characteristics of each product. Mingle with fellow enthusiasts, industry professionals, and supporters of Girls Inc. while savoring delicious bites and sips.

As an added bonus, Julia will guide small groups of guests on personalized tours of Formaggio Kitchen’s cheese cave throughout the evening.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Girls Inc. of Boston and Lynn, helping girls and young women develop the confidence, skills, and leadership abilities to grow up strong, smart, and bold and pursue their full potential.

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese, wine, and accompaniments for one.
2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 7:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the event is about an hour. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please reach out to classes@formaggiocambridge.com when you make your reservation if you or a member of your party has any food allergies or dietary restrictions or requires seating. Our classroom coordinator will help you to determine if the class can be modified to accomodate your needs. The health and safety of our guests is a priority for us.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
