Looking for a fun relaxed evening of American Mahjong? Join the Cleveland Mahjong Collective for Guided Table or Open Play night at Medina's High and Low Winery!

Guided Table

• The Vibe: Educational, supportive, and low-pressure.
• Best For: Advanced beginners, players who recently took a "Learn to Play" class, or anyone wanting a quick refresher on card rules and strategy.
• What to Expect: Play at a relaxed pace with dedicated host guidance. Wendy (or an instructor) will be at or near the table to help you read your card, navigate tough Charleston choices, check valid Mahjong hands, and answer rules questions in real time.

Open Play Table

• The Vibe: Casual, social, and self-directed.
• Best For: Experienced or confident players who know the flow of the game and can play independently without host assistance.
• What to Expect: Grab a seat, shuffle up, and play at your table's own pace! You and your tablemates will manage your own Charleston, turns, and rule calls. Standard sets, mats, and racks are provided—just show up ready to play.

Arrival

• 6:00 PM: Check-in & table setup
• 6:15 PM – 8:30 PM: Open Play! Play as many games as you’d like.
