"Music makes the people come together... yeah." That's right, Madonna. You said it. So astute. Join cultural critic, essayist, and curator Micheal Foulk (Queer Film Theory 101) for an evening of writers writing about music! Inspired by the perpetual beat inside us all and the iconic music criticism and archival work of writer Hanif Abdurraqib, Michael-Vincent D'Anella-Mercanti, Kai Gault, Joan Granite, Brittany Newell, and Kochina Rude read work written exclusively for tonight, a literary deep dive into our favorite albums, genres, and musical artists of the past 60 years. Doors at 6:30pm.
