Talipapa Market Cultural Festival 2026

Overview

Come kick-off Filipino American History Month with us! Watch cultural performances, enjoy Filipino food, buy from local vendors, and more.

Get ready to celebrate with us at this year's Talipapa Market Cultural Festival. In the true spirit of bayanihan—our deep-rooted culture of communal unity—The Filipino Community of Seattle is throwing a two-day kickoff for Filipino American History Month, and you won't want to miss it!

On Friday, September 25 5PM - 9PM and Saturday, September 26 11AM - 5PM the historic Filipino Community Center will transform into a buzzing hub of energy, bringing together over 40 amazing vendors, creatives, and artists to welcome 2,000 community members and friends home.

Friday Night Lights & Beats

Kick off the weekend with an unforgettable night of arts and culture! Experience incredible local Fil-Am talent lighting up the stage with live music, dance, and spoken word. As you soak in the performances, explore a curated night market packed with unique hand-crafted jewelry, stylish clothing, local artwork, and vibrant Filipino-inspired goods. To top it all off, we’re ending the night with a high-energy karaoke contest and an epic dance party!

Saturday Open-Air Talipapa Market

The excitement continues on Saturday with a talipapa—a bustling, open-air market filling both the Center and the Kern-Veloria Plaza. Rooted in the Philippines as vital community gathering spots, these lively markets bridge cultures and bring people together over amazing finds, delicious food, and incredible local craftsmanship.
