FNK (Friday Night Kizomba) is back at Ocho in Oak Cliff on September 18. Come meet new people, dance, grab a drink, and try something new without the awkward networking part.

Never danced before? Perfect.

😂 No experience. No pressure.

Two left feet are welcome too.

Come alone or bring your people. We'll start with a beginner class, then keep the music going till 2AM. 🪩

And this month, we're doing something extra: a curated dinner + cocktail experience inspired by the cultures that gave us this music in the first place. Details below. 👇

This month's menu pulls from the diaspora that built kizomba, funk, and everything in between.

Choose one dish:

Griot-Style Pork (Haiti)

Crispy citrus-marinated pork, pressed green plantains, spicy pickled cabbage

Ropa Vieja Caribeña (Cuba/Caribbean)

Slow-braised shredded beef, rice, black beans, sweet plantains

Frango Piri-Piri (Lusophone Africa)

Piri-piri chicken bites, rice, black beans, sweet plantains

Only 50 pairings are going up for this event.

Once they're gone, they're gone, so grab yours ahead of time instead of hoping there's food left when you walk in.

Your FNK admission (free with RSVP, or $20 at the door) is separate from the $24 dinner + cocktail pairing.
