Arlington 150th Birthday: Historic Drone Photo on Levitt Lawn!

The City of Arlington and Downtown Arlington invite the entire community to the Levitt Pavilion Lawn for a once-in-a-generation moment: a massive, drone-captured "150" human formation to celebrate Arlington’s 150th Anniversary!
Come out, grab a bite of birthday cookie, listen to live music, and stand alongside your friends, family, and neighbors as we capture a historic photo that will be archived for years to come.

Registration is free and not-required, but suggested so that we have an idea of attendee number to anticipate,

What to Expect:

• Free Commemorative T-Shirt: Grab an exclusive 150th Birthday shirt to wear during the photo (First come, first served while supplies last!).
  
• Free Birthday Cookies: Enjoy delicious birthday cookies courtesy of Marquez Bakery (Limited quantity—first come, first served!).
  
• Live Music: Festive tunes playing throughout the lawn to kick off First Thursday!
  
• Aerial Drone Photo: Be part of the giant human "150" captured from above!
  

Timeline & Important Info for Attendees

• 5:00 PM – Arrival & Shirt Pickup: Check in on the Levitt Lawn to claim your free shirt (while supplies last) and enjoy the live music and cookies. Restrooms at Levitt Pavilion, City Hall, and the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library will all be open for changing into your shirt.
  
• 5:30 PM – Staging Begins: Event staff will direct attendees onto the lawn to form the giant "150" shape.
  
• 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM – Drone Photo Shoot: Hold your spot while the aerial drone captures the historic shot!
  
• 6:00 PM – Onward: Stick around Downtown Arlington for the rest of September First Thursdays! Enjoy free arts & culture events at various Downtown businesses, Theatre Arlington's Caberet, the 150th Sticker Scavenger Hunt, Knapp Heritage Park open house, and more.
