Resonant Lightscapes - Gadi Sassoon Live

For this live performance, Gadi Sassoon uses a camera to transform the reflections generated within the installation into data, which is then translated into sound in real time. The performance makes audible the feedback loops between light and sound that underpin Resonant Lightscapes, allowing the visual behaviour of reflected light to directly influence the sonic environment. In this live iteration, light becomes both image and information, entering a continuous process of transformation between reflection, data and sound.
