Infidels Jazz Presents: Devin Gray, Gordon Grdina & JP Carter at Zameen
One of New York's most creative drummers plays his first Vancouver show ever
Devin Gray (Portland Maine, USA) is a distinguished drummer, composer, bandleader and producer known for his innovative contributions to contemporary jazz. Since relocating to New York City in 2006, Gray has become a prominent figure in the jazz community, collaborating with esteemed musicians such as David Liebman, Gary Thomas, Tony Malaby, and Kris Davis. He currently divides his time between Brooklyn and Berlin, engaging with diverse musical scenes.
For his first Vancouver concert ever he'll be joined by two of Vancouver's most prolific musicians: Gordon Grdina on guitar, and JP Carter on trumpet.
This performance is part of the New Thing, a monthly creative music series presented by Infidels Jazz, with support from the Vancouver Jazz Orchestra Society.
