Restoring Ease - Sacred Rest with Blanca Wright

Garcia Center for the Arts is  home to creatives, makers, art leaders, educators, and art organizations. Our center has expanded to include art studios in ceramics, printmaking, and glassblowing. Our center houses a stage and sound system, a store front called Mercado 536 and a community garden with acceess to community plots and comunal farming.

A Restorative Yoga and Guided Meditation practiceThis restorative workshop is designed to support us in cultivating rest, regulation, and healing through supportive yoga and guided meditation practices.Together, we will create space to slow down, soften, and reconnect with the wisdom of the body. Through guided meditation, restorative yoga, and intentional rest, participants will be invited to explore practices that support nervous system regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of inner safety.In a world that often asks us to stay in survival mode, this workshop offers an opportunity to pause, exhale, and receive the nourishment of collective care. Our time together will close with a guided meditation to support integration, grounding, and restoration.You are invited to come exactly as you are and leave feeling more grounded, restored, and connected to both yourself and the collective healing that becomes possible in community.Date: Thursday September 3, 2026Time: 6PM to 7:15PMPlease arrive by 5:45 so we can begin at 6pmLast 15 minutes are to support ease out of practice, community connection, conversation and integrationLocation: The Garcia Center for the ArtsYou are invited to come exactly as you are and leave feeling more grounded, restored, and connected to both yourself and the collective healing that becomes possible in community.
