The DeKalb County Domestic Violence Task Force is hosting a free community Lunch N’ Learn focused on the effects of domestic violence on children. The Task Force’s mission is to reduce domestic violence in DeKalb County through education, empowerment, resources, and community involvement.

This educational session will help participants better understand how exposure to domestic violence can harm children and why recognizing these effects is an important part of breaking the cycle of abuse. It also provides an opportunity for community members to learn more about how they can protect and support children and loved ones experiencing abusive relationships.

The Task Force encourages parents, caregivers, educators, professionals, community members, and anyone who wants to better understand domestic violence to attend.
