Beginning tango dance classes with Diego and Alejandra (four dates)
Argentine tango is for everyone!
Diego Lanau and Alejandra Saravia teach tango in Berkeley! This is a series of four classes, Wednesdays, starting September 2nd. Tango is an improvisational dance based on connection and communication. Diego and Alejandra teach the dance techniques that make communication possible.
These classes are taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers," and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.
Wednesdays: Sept 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
6:45 pm: check-in
7:00-8:00 pm beginning tango series
8:00-8:30 pm practica
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions.
Diego and Alejandra also teach a second tango series, starting Wednesday, September 30th. Join us for both!

As of now, September 2nd is scheduled for the drawing room, and the other dates are scheduled for the ballroom. The room reservation may change.
We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the Berkeley City Club lot.
