Join Greenbelt Alliance as we explore a rooftop botanical garden in downtown San Francisco.
We'll stroll through an arboretum perched four stories high atop the Salesforce Transit Center.
The garden features botanical specimens from around the world that grow in Mediterranean climates similar to California. Over six hundred trees and sixteen thousand plants await our discovery on this arboreal outing.
As we walk, we'll view the world's rarest pine tree and another tree believed to be extinct for millions of years, but recently found very much alive in an Australian forest.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy some urban nature while celebrating Transit Month, an annual tradition to highlight buses, trains, operators, and riders that make the Bay Area's transit system amazing. This September, let's hop on board and discover new transit-accessible adventures!

We will meet on the ground level of the transit center, near the escalator that leads up to the park. [Directions] There are restrooms in the park.
