In this beginner class series, experienced instructors guide you through the fundamentals – tiles, hands, strategy, and everything in between. By the end, you'll have the skills and confidence to sit down at any table. Sets and cards provided.

Join us for open Mahjong social play – a relaxed, lively gathering for players looking to enjoy the game and meet fellow enthusiasts at the JCCSF. Experienced facilitators are on hand to keep things moving and answer questions. Limited sets and cards provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Run by Alice Meyers and Kara Yugoff, we offer beginner lessons, coached play, social events, and tournaments designed to make Mahj approachable, welcoming, and fun.
