17th Original Collard Green Cultural Festival ( 2 Day Event)

The Original Collard Greens Cultural Festival to Hillside International Truth Center for a weekend centered around food, culture, community, health, and heritage.

In celebration of Hillside’s 55th year, the festival continues a tradition that began in 1998, bringing people together through the history, creativity, and culture surrounding collard greens. Across two days, guests can eat, connect, celebrate, and experience the many ways collard greens continue to show up within our communities.

The weekend will include the Collard Greens Cook-Off, where participants can enter for $50 for the chance to win a $500 prize, along with Collard Green Ice Cream served throughout the festival. On Sunday in addition to the Regulard events we have a new elevated experience called "Taste Of Collard Greens"- Sponsored by The Food Spot/ Chef Kevin. A special tent filled with collard green infused dishes created by local Chef's. Ticket for the Taste of Collard Greens are $40. Only 25 tickets sold. #iykyk
