Beginner Sewing Foundations: Elastic-Waist Skirt Workshop
Hands on beginner sewing class. Learn machine basics, stitches, measurements, fabric math, and sew an elastic waist skirt.
About This Class
This beginner-friendly sewing workshop is designed to teach sewing the right way — step by step, without rushing.
Students will begin by learning how to properly use a sewing machine and practice essential stitches, including straight lines, curves, and circles. We’ll then cover how to take body measurements, calculate fabric requirements, cut fabric accurately, and construct an elastic-waist skirt from start to finish.
