House Detectives: Investigating Historic Buildings
Join us for a fun series uncovering the secrets and stories hidden inside your historic building!
Join us for an engaging hands-on workshop series that will equip you to research the history of your historic structure.
The presenter is Elizabeth Hodges, assistant manager of Geneaology Services, The Geneaology Center, Allen County Public Library.
Each session will open with a zoom meeting with Elizabeth. She will introduce you resources & tools to guide your research. Following the zoom portion of the workshop, you will have time to use those tools in the Indiana Room where staff will be available to answer questions.
It is strongly preferred that you bring own laptop and know how to do basic internet research.
Whether you are a history buff or curious homeowner, these sessions will enrich your appreciation of the place you call home.
