Climb aboard the Art Bus for an intimate, curated journey through four distinctive Detroit arts and cultural spaces featuring visual art, live performances, poetry, storytelling, conversation and curated wine tasting along the way.

• Story — The Hendrie, featuring Rochelle Wilson-Ellis

• Legacy — N’ Namdi Center for Contemporary Art, featuring George N’Namdi

Award winning journalist and master interviewer, Ed Gordon serves as the 2026 ArtEx Honorary Chairman, and joins us for a celebration of Detroit's art culture and legacy.

The journey concludes at the N'Namdi Center with the Legacy experience and closing reception.

Parking & Bus Boarding Information

Parking Location: Sugar Hill Garage, 119 Garfield Street, Detroit, MI 48201

The garage entrance is accessed from the alley off John R Street, between Garfield and Forest. The parking rate is currently $12.

From the garage, walk through the courtyard and past Seva Detroit to reach the N’Namdi Center. There are no streets to cross.

Bus Boarding Location: N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art, 52 E. Forest Avenue, Detroit, MI 48201

The ArtEx bus will load on Forest Avenue in front of the church directly next to the N’Namdi Center. Please arrive early enough to park, walk to the boarding area and check in before the scheduled departure.
