Across the Table: A Braver Angels Potluck and Game Night

After our potluck supper, we will play Over Coffee, a lighthearted and engaging card game that helps people move beyond ordinary small talk. Each round begins with a prompt—some personal and playful, others touching on politics and public life—that invites someone to share a story or perspective. Other players then use verb cards to create curious follow-up questions.

This is not a debate, and no expertise or preparation is required. It is an opportunity to speak candidly, listen attentively, and enjoy respectful political conversation with neighbors who may see things differently. Bring a dish, bring your point of view, and come ready to laugh, listen, and discover something unexpected about the people around the table.
