NASP's PREPaRE Workshop 2 -- New Orleans

Overview

Register today for NASP's PREPaRE Workshop 2 Mental Health Interventions: Responding to an Acute Traumatic Stressor in Schools.

Project PASS, funded by a BJA/STOP School Violence grant, welcomes you to register for NASP's PREPaRE Workshop 2, to be held at the New Orleans Career Center at 1331 Kerlerec St. on Sept. 28-29, 8:30am-4:30pm each day. This is a two-day workshop, and participants must commit to attending both days.

What? This 2-day training develops the knowledge and skills required to provide immediate mental health crisis interventions to the students, staff, and school community members who have been simultaneously exposed to an acute traumatic stressor.

Who? For school mental health staff, community-based partners who work with school crisis teams, and anyone involved in crisis intervention and psychological first aid.

How much does it cost? This training is free! Costs are covered by a federal grant.

Registration is now open! The waitlist activates when the event is full. We often end up clearing some of the waitlist, so please add the event to your calendar if you'd like to attend.

IMPORTANT: After you register, you will receive follow-up information from Dr. Courtney Baker at Project PASS and from NASP with next steps regarding additional documentation, which is required in order to participate.
