Come ‘Greek Out’ with us as we meet some famous deities from Mount Olympus and learn about their mischief!
Each month we will read a new myth and learn about a different Greek god. A themed creative activity will accompany each myth. This program is geared for kids ages 6-11 yrs old.
Monthly Crafts:
September 10 / Perseus, Pegasus, and Poisonous Hair?!?! - Join Perseus as he comes face to face with Medusa and learns it will take more than a hairbrush to tame her hair!
October 15 / An Ode to Odysseus - “Eye” don’t think you want to miss out on this journey to the base of Mount Etna where we face the fearsome Cyclops.
November 12 / Careful What You Wish For - Come discover what happens when a statue comes to life! We will explore two different endings to this famous Greek myth involving Pygmalion.
December 10 / On The 13th day of Christmas the Greeks gave to me... - Let’s travel to Troy and observe as they open their gift from the Greeks! Remember to NEIGH-ver look a gift horse in the mouth!
