Wednesday, October 7
What does daily life look like for adults and children living during this time period? Campers will start the first day of camp by exploring that question, as well as planting vegetables, making butter, and starting the first day of their scrapbook.

Wednesday, October 14
Today will be a fun-filled hands-on cooking day! Campers will clean and cut fruits and vegetables, as well as make jam and pickle those fruits and veggies. Campers will explore what was grown on farms, how those plants were harvested, and how that produce was preserved - without a refrigerator or freezer!

Wednesday, October 21
Today a librarian from the Mount Prospect Public Library will visit camp and share recommendations for books about Colonial America. Campers will also make a corn husk doll and create more pages in their scrapbook.
