Elemental: DJs & Jitmasters is a love letter to Detroit hip hop at its rawest and most electric. This Third Thursday at the Wright event brings the city’s foundational elements to the forefront: the turntables and the dance floor. Headlining the night are seasoned DJs Stayce J and Righteous Knowledge. The energy deepens with jitmasters in motion, honoring the jit, a dance born right here in the city and carried through generations. Adding lyrical fire to the evening will be Dr. Pellz, a Detroit emcee to hype us up with rich bars! Expect heavy bass, sharp footwork, fearless bars, and an unapologetic celebration of Detroit’s influence on global hip hop culture. This is movement, mastery, and music in its elemental form.
