Aiaola, Food is Medicine Summit

Join us October 1–3 for the inaugural ʻAiaola Food is Medicine Summit at Hale ʻĀkoakoa, Windward Community College, Kāneʻohe.

We're bringing together those working to implement Food is Medicine in practice — farmers, food aggregators, healthcare partners, and community. Here in Hawaiʻi, we understand that FIM starts with ʻāina and is grounded in community values. Relationships are the foundation of this work, and we're building this summit around that belief.

Grounded in these relationships, the summit aligns statewide efforts across clinical care, prevention, food systems development, reimbursement mechanisms, community care hubs, and policy innovation — positioning Hawaiʻi as a national leader in integrating locally sourced, culturally relevant food and nutrition into healthcare delivery, and leveraging emerging opportunities in value-based care.
