Make Your Own Pasta at Donna Mare
Let’s make pasta! Sip Prosecco as you learn pasta making, then sit down to enjoy the same dish over dinner.
Discover the Art of Pasta Making at Donna Mare Italian Chophouse
Step into the all-new Donna Mare Italian Chophouse for an intimate evening of hands-on Italian craft. You'll learn the techniques behind truly authentic pasta under the guidance of Massimo Iannuario, our resident sfoglino (artisan pasta maker). Born in Cremona, Italy, where fresh pasta is woven into everyday life, Massimo trained in professional kitchens across Italy, including a Michelin-starred restaurant in Milan, before bringing his craft to Miami Beach. Tonight, he shares the same time-honored techniques passed down through his own family, guiding you through the process by hand.
The Experience
The evening begins with a glass of Prosecco as you settle in for a hands-on pasta workshop, guided step-by-step by Massimo himself.
Then, Sit Back and Savor
Once the pasta is made, enjoy a three-course tasting menu showcasing the fruits of your labor:
ANTIPASTO | SELEZIONE ITALIANA Prosciutto di Parma, mortadella, finocchiona, Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino, Gorgonzola, seasonal fruit, preserves
PRIMO | HOUSE MADE PASTA DISH
DOLCE | Tiramisu mascarpone, espresso, cocoa
Meet Your Instructor
Massimo grew up with flour on his hands, kneading dough alongside his family and helping his grandmother make gnocchi with her famous shrimp sauce. His favorite shape to make is cappelletti. It is a specialty of his hometown that his family gathered to prepare together each winter. That same spirit is at the heart of every class: for Massimo, making pasta from scratch isn't a competition, but an experience best enjoyed together.
Come slow down, get your hands a little floury, and leave with more than just a recipe - leave with a story to tell.
