Discover how Multi-Layered Systems of Support (MLSS) and Child Find work together to identify and support students who may have disabilities. Participants will examine the distinction between intervention and evaluation, understand legal referral obligations, and learn when a referral for special education evaluation is appropriate.

September 14, 2026- One Team, One Student: Informed Consent

Understand when informed parental consent is required under IDEA and what it truly means. This session reviews consent for evaluations, initial services, reevaluations, and other special education activities while addressing common misconceptions and best practices for meaningful family engagement.
