FIU Latin Jazz Concert

The FIU Latin Jazz Ensemble brings the dynamic sound of Latin jazz to The Wertheim, drawing on Afro-Caribbean, South American, and North American traditions. Directed by Dr. Michael Eckroth, the ensemble performs music by influential Latin jazz composers alongside original arrangements, featuring driving percussion and spirited improvisation from FIU’s outstanding student musicians.
