SoCal HIMSS Winter Collaborative
SoCal HIMSS Winter Collaborative
As healthcare accelerates toward a more interoperable, patient-centered future, the HIMSS Southern California Winter Collaborative will convene industry leaders to explore how connected care is transforming the delivery of health services across the continuum.
This full-day symposium brings together CIOs, CMIOs, CNIOs, CTOs, clinical leaders, and innovators to examine the critical building blocks required to enable connected care from modern infrastructure and data integration to operational readiness and patient engagement. Participants will gain insights from keynote speakers and expert panels on how leading organizations are:
- Building scalable, secure platforms to support real-time data sharing
- Aligning clinical workflows and operational models to fully realize the promise of digital health
- Leveraging patient-reported data and mobile technologies to drive engagement and outcomes
- Navigating governance, culture, and leadership challenges to ensure successful transformation
- Partnering with industry innovators to accelerate care delivery beyond traditional settings
The event also features interactive breakout sessions and an Innovation Lab, where attendees will engage in real-world use cases, explore emerging technologies—including wearable devices, AI-driven tools, and care-at-home solutions—and collaborate with peers on practical approaches to implementation. Set in a highly interactive environment, the Winter Collaborative emphasizes peer-to-peer learning, cross-industry collaboration, and actionable insights that attendees can take back to their organizations.
Join us for a dynamic day of learning, networking, and innovation as we shape the future of connected care across Southern California and beyond.

Opening Keynote: Connected Care Initiatives
Connected care has moved past the pilot stage at most health systems, and the hard part is no longer the technology. This session lays out where Southern California organizations are investing, where results are showing up and where the gaps between strategy and the bedside remain.

Technology Platforms & Integration
Every connected care program runs into the same question: what has to talk to what, and who owns it when it breaks. Panelists discuss platform selection, integration with the EHR and existing infrastructure, and the security and interoperability tradeoffs that come with each added point of connection.
