A relaxed tasting with the Donelan family. Four to five Sonoma wines, each with a light food pairing, among the cars at Archive.
Cushing Donelan is bringing Sonoma to Framingham.
Donelan Family Wines is a small Sonoma producer, founded by Joe Donelan and now run day to day by his sons. Their Obsidian Estate vineyard in Knights Valley takes its name from the black volcanic glass under the vines. Robert Parker called the portfolio "exceptionally elegant," with "Syrah flirting with perfection."
On Friday, September 11, the family pours four to five of those wines at Archive, each with a light food pairing, in a room full of the cars our members collect. It's a relaxed evening rather than a seminar. Good bottles, the people who make them, and time to talk.
Guests are welcome. Archive is a private club, and this is one of the evenings we open to people outside it. If you've been curious what goes on behind the door, this is a straightforward way to find out.
