SEEN Events is launching its first queer event with an exciting evening of mingling, live music, DJs and dancing for 25+ POC LGBTQIA+ women, trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people, with allies warmly welcome, on Sunday 1st November 2026.

SEEN Events is about creating queer safe spaces to connect, celebrate community, dress up, and be unapologetically yourself. Be seen, be you.

The evening begins with space and seating to mingle and network while enjoying a vibrant mix of DJs and live music, and to get you started, there's a free drink on entry included in your ticket. We’ve worked hard to showcase emerging local artists alongside experienced performers, supporting and celebrating the talent in our community. As the night goes on, the energy will build into a lively dance-floor vibe, giving you the perfect chance to show off your outfit and move in style.

Set in the heart of Brixton, 100 Barrington has been chosen for its chic, sparkling atmosphere — the perfect backdrop for a stylish masquerade celebration.

Expect an unforgettable evening of networking, music, culture, and good vibes in a fully accessible venue. Whether you're coming to network, socialise, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, we invite you to step into a space where you can be your authentic self and celebrate with like-minded people.

Dress Code: Black Tie, black dress, black everything

Think elevated evening wear: tuxedos, dinner jackets, tailor suits, formal gowns, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, and statement formal attire. Bring your style, your confidence, and your elegance.

Masquerade masks are encouraged - it is a ball after all. But of course, this is also a space to be seen, so don’t forget to remove your mask at some point during the night and reveal your beautiful self.

Important Event Information

🔞 This is a strictly 25+ event.

All guests must bring valid photographic physical ID. Failure to provide ID on arrival may result in refused entry.

🕡 Last entry is 6:30pm.

Entry after this time cannot be guaranteed and may be refused at the discretion of the organisers.

🚪 No re-entry policy.

Once you have entered the venue, you will not be permitted to leave and return later. Please ensure you have everything you need before arriving.

SEEN Masquerade Ball is a POC-centred sapphic event created to celebrate and uplift LGBTQIA+ women, trans and non-binary people who identify with and feel connected to sapphic communities. While our focus is on creating a space where POC sapphic individuals feel seen, represented and celebrated, allies are welcome.

This is a drama-free zone. We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone attending. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, intimidation, aggressive behaviour, or disrespectful treatment of guests, staff, performers, volunteers, venue personnel or organisers will not be tolerated.

Anyone displaying discriminatory behaviour, or any other form of prejudice, may be refused entry or removed from the event without warning.
