Social Volunteer Event (Family Day Edition)

Social Volunteer Event (Family Day Edition)

Overview

Sort packaging materials with your local nonprofit and your family!

EcoShip is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that collects shipping materials from Chicagoland communities and distributes them to businesses and individuals for reuse.

EcoShip looks forward to welcoming families with children ages 8+ who are looking to give back to a local nonprofit. We will start off with a tour and short presentation to learn more about our work in the community. Sorting kicks off afterwards and will include measuring boxes, folding and packing paper, and more!

Arrival/Parking: There is a lot of paid street parking on Pulaski Rd and Milwaukee Ave. Free street parking can be found further west on Melrose St and School St.

Ages: This event is curated for families with children 8+. When RSVP'ing, make sure to RSVP for everyone in your family.

Do I have to come with a family or can I join solo? This event is for families only. Check out our other upcoming events for solo opportunities!

*If you can no longer make it, please go ahead and cancel your ticket so that others can join. Thank you!
