Equinox Reset: Breathe in the New Season

Equinox Reset: Breathe in the New Season

Overview

Join us for an evening of breathwork, journaling and setting intentions as we reset and prepare to be alive and present in the new season.

An evening to reset & infuse support while entering the new autumn season. Especially at the end of summer, life can just feel so chaotic and frazzled and fast and all of the sudden it’s Christmas. Do you relate? We wanted to set an evening aside to pause and purposefully bring attention, awareness through breath into our bodies and set intentions for the new season on the autumnal equinox. Join us for an evening at Center for Conscious Alchemy to be together and make a little space for yourself to hear what your heart is longing to tell you.

What to Expect:

  • We’ll begin with a welcome where we share a little information about the fall season, the autumn equinox, and give a little intro about breathwork for those who are new.
  • Then you’ll get comfy in your cozy nests on the floor. Helen will guide everyone in an active breathwork practice, where you might feel sensations and/or emotions.
  • After the active practice, you’ll be invited into a meditative breath where you can sink into deep rest.
  • At the end of the rest period, you’ll be invited to reflect in your journal and there will be some time to connect back in with the group for optional sharing, processing, and setting an intention for the autumn season ahead.

What is Breathwork?
An active, rhythmic meditation that has three parts, breathwork is a form of self-healing that gets you out of your mind and into the body by increasing the oxygen level in the body to produce energy and flow. Breathing into the belly, heart, and out an open mouth creates space for emotion and blocks to move through the body as you begin to feel more open and clear as you release the old. The practitioner guides you through the breathing, using oils, music, affirmations, reiki, and other tools to support your body during the healing journey.

What to Bring:
Bring with you a journal, pen, and any other items that would help you feel cozy and held on the floor. We’ll be laying down for breathwork and will have some mats, blankets, and bolsters, but bring anything else you might need to be comfortable.

Your hosts:

Helen Buron

Hi, I’m Helen Buron (she/her) and I was recently joking (but not joking?) about how if I had merch my t-shirts would say something about twinkle lights and chocolate (with some life transformation in between). I’m really passionate about creating sacred spaces for us to do our own healing work together, which includes ambiance (twinkle lights please!), treats, humor, and the permission for our full selves to show up exactly as we are.

On the quest to be more at home in my body as an artist, a griefwalker, and a sensitive girlie with big feels and chronic illness, I discovered breathwork when living in New York in 2014 and it changed my life. Now I love guiding the breathwork practice for community healing in group workshops, retreats, and one-on-one sessions to support us all in living embodied, vibrant, and authentic lives by finding clarity and movement with energy and emotions.

My official resume titles are breathwork facilitator, energy healing practitioner, craniosacral therapist, coach, and artist/writer. When not working, I enjoy celebrating seasons and moon cycles, spending time in nature with my fur babies, meeting for coffee, adventuring with my hubs, watching women’s sports (especially basketball!), reading, writing, lifting weights, creating art, and chasing joy.

Sarah Bonneville

Hey, I’m Sarah Bonneville and I think doing stuff in person is fun. I’m an initiator, apple-cart-upsetter, have zero time for perfectionism and would claim the Queen of Send-It.

During the day I am a match maker and fiduciary advocate for my real estate clients selling and purchasing their homes. I help them cut through the noise and get where they’re going with the most respect and dare I say…fun. Home is a sacred endeavor and I’m honored to get to hold them through it.

I started hosting events because I believe in the kind of magic that can't be planned - the conversation that shifts something in you, the connection you didn't know you needed, the moment that points you toward what's next. As a fellow traveler on my own journey of alignment and authentic power, I create spaces where we can exhale, be seen, and find each other. Whether it's a first-time homebuyer workshop, an entrepreneur gathering, or an intimate circle of women simply showing up for themselves, I show up as a connector, a spark, and a soft place to land. These events aren't just networking. They're an invitation to remember who you are and discover what's possible when the right people are in the room together. Can’t wait to connect. <3
