Tiny Jazz NYC: Artifact

Formed in 2024, Artifact is an international jazz ensemble led by bassist and composer Jakob Ebers, featuring saxophonist Alex Hitchcock, pianist Sam Towse, and drummer David Sirkis.

Made up of musicians who are equal parts sidemen and bandleaders, this group blends jazz tradition with Ebers’ contemporary compositions into music that feels both centered and expansive.

Collectively, the band has performed across New York City, the U.S., Europe and Asia. In 2025, Artifact attended the Avaloch Farm Institute Residency, where they further developed their collaborative dynamic. The quartet is preparing to record its debut album in 2027.

Doors open at 7pm! Show will run approximately 7:30-9:00pm
