Greenhouse Planting Day
Overview
Directly help with our restoration efforts by planting wildflower seedlings in the Bear Creek Greenhouse.
After a brief presentation, students will be given wildflower seeds, trays to plant, and soil. Wildflower species to plant include Native Butterfly Milkweed, Blazing Star, Cone Flower, and Black Eyed Susans.
All wildflowers planted will be transplanted into the forest once they sprout in the spring.
Best for students 8 years +.
