Gareth Richards from Gower seal group will join us as we will walk down to the causeway and undertake rock pooling and some seal watching.
Join Dawn Thomas and Gareth Richards from the Gower Seal group for an exciting visit to Worm's Head to watch the seals resting there.
Saturday 10th October – Worms Head causeway exploration and Seal watching
Meet at 10am on the pathway beside the toilets at the end of the Rhossili National Trust car park. SA3 1PR
We will walk down to the causeway by making our way across the rocks to the inner head. There, we will look over the cliff into the water looking for the seals on the rocks below. We are very lucky to have Gareth Richards who will share his knowledge about seals so we observe the seals without disturbing them. Please bring binoculars. On the way back we will undertake rock pooling. Please wear suitable shoes with good grip which you don’t mind getting wet. Please don't bring dogs or very younger children as the terrain is not easy. Suitable for families who are mobile.
Places are limited to 30 so please only book if you definitely going to attend.
Book on Eventbrite.
