Thrive for Change provides custom in-person or virtual training to people who want to learn more about harm reduction and how we can reduce the harms that come from substance use. Our educators have deep roots in this community from lived experience, to working in syringe programs, and we want to share our knowledge with you.

In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, yoga instructor Sara Syed will lead an outdoor, all-levels yoga class overlooking the lake. Come as you are, bring a mat, and spend your Sunday morning moving and connecting with community while supporting an important cause.📅 Sunday, August 30 at 10:00 AM 📍 Huntington Beach – Bottom of Staircase #3 💜 Suggested donation: $10–$30This class is donation-based, and proceeds will benefit Thrive for Change, a Cleveland nonprofit working to prevent overdose and support people impacted by substance use through harm reduction outreach, lifesaving Narcan distribution, overdose response training, community education, and connections to care.So far this year alone, Thrive for Change's efforts helped prevent more than 100 overdose deaths.What to bring:<ul><li>Yoga mat or towel</li><li>Water</li><li>Sunscreen and anything else you need to be comfortable outdoors</li><li>A friend! All experience levels are welcome.</li></ul>RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Donations can be made in advance through Eventbrite or at the event.Whether you're a longtime yogi or have never stepped onto a mat before, you're welcome to join us. Come move with us, enjoy the lake, and help support a community where everyone has the opportunity to survive and thrive.
