After5NewYork - The Social Brain: How Every Interaction Changes Us
From Brain Chemistry to Human Connection: How Every Interaction Shapes Who We Become
A Conversation on Connection, Empathy, and the Science of Human Interaction
Join a neuroscientist and healthcare researcher for The Social Brain: How Every Interaction Changes Us, an engaging exploration of how our brains respond to the people around us and how social interactions shape the way we think, feel, and behave. Together, we'll uncover the science behind human connection, from empathy and communication to trust, belonging, and social bonding, and explore why our relationships can have such a powerful impact on our brains and everyday lives.
What We'll Cover:
• How the brain responds to other people - Explore what happens in the brain during social interactions and how our experiences with others influence our thoughts, emotions, and behavior.
• Why human connection matters - Learn about the neuroscience behind empathy, trust, communication, and social bonding, and why connection is fundamental to the human experience.
• How our interactions shape us - Discover how the people around us can influence our identity, decisions, relationships, and the way we experience the world.
Whether you're fascinated by neuroscience, interested in psychology and relationships, or simply curious about why certain interactions stay with us long after they're over, you'll leave with a deeper appreciation for the science behind human connection.
