Building in Public: An Interactive Social Media Workshop at 3686 Popup

Overview

We’ll break down why short-form video works, what makes people stop scrolling, and how to turn everyday moments into engaging content

Stop scrolling. Start creating.

Join Janvier Buggs, Social Media & Content Manager at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center and founder of Woogirling, for a hands-on social media workshop designed to help founders and business owners turn what they’re already doing into content people want to watch.

Janvier has grown her personal brand, Woo Girling, to more than 34,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok by exploring Nashville, highlighting local businesses and events, and building community both online and in person. Now, she’s bringing that real-world, self-taught experience to the workshop.

We’ll break down why short-form video works, what makes people stop scrolling, and how to turn everyday moments into engaging content—without needing a huge following, expensive equipment, or a perfectly polished brand.

This isn’t a sit-and-listen workshop. You’ll learn by doing.

What you’ll learn:

  • Why video is one of the most effective ways to build connection and trust online
  • The anatomy of an engaging short-form video
  • How to create stronger hooks and keep viewers watching
  • The BUILD framework for creating content with intention
  • How to turn B-roll + voiceover into a polished, ready-to-post video
  • How to capture content in real time without interrupting what you’re doing

And then you’ll put it into practice.

You’ll leave the workshop with a ready-to-build video concept and B-roll footage captured on-site using the Brewing Connections conference, Monday Night Brewing, and the Neuhoff District as your backdrop.

You’ll know:
what to film, why you’re filming it, how to structure it, and what to say later.

No social media expertise required. No fancy camera required. Just bring your phone, your business, and a willingness to hit record.

Come ready to build. Come ready to film. Come ready to build in public.
