Back To School Bash

Attendees will gain the practical tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate the unique challenges of raising a school-aged child with a bleeding disorder.

• Sessions and activities will be held for attendees of all ages.
• Lunch will be provided.

Adult Sessions:

• Learn how to set up a 504 Plan or IEP and build an Individualized Health Plan (IHP) with your school
• Get practical tips on supporting your child's safe participation in sports and gym class
• Discover age-appropriate strategies for teaching your child to self-advocate with peers, teachers, and school staff

Kids & Teen Activities:

• Mario Kart & Fortnite Tournaments
• Learn to Make a Podcast Workshop
• Baseball & Golf Sports Simulators

Registration

• The event is free for our community members. This event is open to anyone with a bleeding disorder and their family, living in their immediate household, from the NYC tri state area.
• Cancellation Policy: By registering for this event, you agree to the following cancellation policy. If you cancel your registration within one week of the event or do not show up for the event, you will be charged a $25 per person fee. If you are experiencing a personal or medical emergency, please contact us to discuss.
