Townhall Session on Establishment of TVET Commission

MTVET-TalentCorp Townhall is a strategic engagement session jointly organised by TalentCorp and the Majlis TVET Negara (MTVET) Secretariat to facilitate dialogue between government, industry, and training institutions on the proposed establishment of the TVET Commission (Suruhanjaya TVET). The session serves as a platform to share updates on the national TVET agenda, gather industry feedback, and strengthen collaboration towards a more coordinated, industry-driven, and future-ready TVET ecosystem in Malaysia.

What the Townhall Aims to Achieve:

• Provide industry stakeholders with greater clarity on the proposed establishment, mandate and intended role of the National TVET Commission.

• Share key developments and ongoing reforms shaping Malaysia’s national TVET ecosystem.

• Capture industry perspectives and recommendations to strengthen TVET governance, implementation and responsiveness to workforce needs.

• Identify opportunities for stronger industry participation in apprenticeships, talent development and other TVET-related initiatives.
