New Perspectives on Anatomy, Movement & Awareness Through the Anusara Yoga Method

What if alignment could help you see your students—and your own practice—in an entirely new way?

Move beyond simply asking, “Does this pose look right?” and discover a deeper approach to alignment based on how the body actually moves, adapts, stabilizes, breathes, and responds.

Join internationally respected teachers Julia Pearring and Adam Ballenger for a dynamic, practical exploration of the Universal Principles of Alignment from the Anusara Yoga method.

Drawing on their extensive expertise in anatomy, kinesiology, physiology, exercise science, functional movement, yoga philosophy, therapeutic applications, and teaching methodology, Julia and Adam will reveal how alignment can become much more than positioning the body—it can become a powerful tool for developing body awareness, functional strength,
mobility, stability, coordination, longevity, and ease.

Whether you teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Gentle or Therapeutic, or another style of yoga, this summit will offer perspectives you can immediately bring into your teaching or your practice

Learn how to look beyond a prescribed shape, recognize the unique needs of individual bodies, and give students meaningful choices and adaptations.

Explore how anatomy, movement, breath, prana, awareness, and intention come together to create a practice that is not only more refined, but more intelligent, sustainable, and responsive.

Register now and discover how alignment can become not just something we teach—but a way of seeing, listening, adapting, and moving with greater intelligence.

A Preview of Yoga Conference San Francisco

This free online summit also offers a preview of the offerings that will be at the
heart of Yoga Conference San Francisco, May 13–16, 2027.

The conference will bring together leading teachers and presenters from diverse
backgrounds and traditions for four days of immersive classes, workshops, philosophy, anatomy, alignment, pranayama, meditation, and embodied practice.

At the heart of the conference is a larger question: How can yoga become more meaningful, intelligent, inclusive, and sustainable—for ourselves, our students, and the world around us?

Join Julia Pearring and Adam Ballenger on September 12 for an inspiring and practical exploration of the Universal Principles and discover how a deeper understanding of alignment can change the way you practice, teach, observe, and move.
