This innovative project reveals how DJs and nightlife practitioners serve not only as entertainers but as archivists, technologists, cultural workers, and producers of knowledge.The archive of nightlife lives beyond museums — in sound, memory, flyers, hard drives, clothing, equipment, conversations, movement, and the people who build culture night after night.This live event invites you to gather inside the archive itself, beginning with an engaging conversation with MoMA Ready, followed by vibrant DJ sets from friends and collaborators. Part oral history, part public program, part party, The Legible Archive celebrates the dance floor as a place where culture happens and history is made.
