Welcome to Glossop BookFest 2026!
Get ready to be part of a celebration of stories and ideas on World Author Day at the Glossop BookFest 2026. This in-person event is perfect for book lovers of all ages to meet authors, illustrators and artisans with book-related products to sell, and discover amazing new reads.
There will be a prizegiving ceremony at 3pm for the winners of our 'Scary Stories' Children's Writing Competition and we are encouraging Hallowe'en fancy dress to add to the fun! The mayor will be attending, there will be interactive and children's activities and a cafe.
